The insulin is playing an important role in our body. It converts all the starch and glucose into energy. If the energy is not supplied to our body then there is disorder in the functions of our body and mind. The diabetic occurs due to insufficient flow of insulin and energy conversion. A person with diabetic has to follow certain food habits that are listed as diabetic food grocery list. A diabetic specialist or physicians or dietitian will make a chart of foods for consumption to a person depending on the age and other factors. The daily food should contain carbohydrates, protein and other minerals to the prescribed level. The list of foods may vary from person to person and according to age and sex. The environmental condition will also be considered for assigning food habits. A small amount of saturated food can also be added to the food list. Diabetic low carbohydrate foods are also considered while assigning. More risk is involved in diabetic patient when they consume more contents of carbohydrates. Hence low carb diet is always suggested to diabetic patient.

Food rich in fiber is always suggested to protect the body from diabetic. As the rich fiber foods helps slow digestion, the carbohydrates are fully taken in and the segregation of insulin is utilized for the conversion of energy and hence the insulin is not diverted to the blood vessels. As such the glucose level in the blood is not increased. The formation of sugar contents in the blood is totally avoided. Rich fiber is commonly found in vegetables, fruits, cereals, peas, oats, etc., the chart for rich fiber vegetables, pulses and cereals can be found in nutrient chart. The good diabetic foods list should always be considered for regular consumption. The bad diabetic foods should be avoided once for all. For example raw sugar has low carbohydrate than the refined sugar. Like wise some food materials will have low carb at raw level and high carb level at refined state. Hence before choosing the good diabetic food, the carbohydrate level should be scrutinized.

Foods contain rich fat, alcoholic drinks, foods out of refinery, salted meat, chicken and fish should be avoided totally. Consumption of such food by diabetic patient may cause serious disease like heart attack. It is very common among people to control one self from the habitual aspect is very hard. It may not be possible to stop and avoid all such habits on one day. It may take several days to go with new habits. The reason behind this is a person bound by circumstances and drawn to such diseases at one level and after at least spending half of his life. But it is very essential for such person falls to such disease by circumstances due to uncontrolled and non prevention activities. The earlier the person controls himself from usual food habits or other good and healthy food habits, the better the person gets cured from his diseases.
